Through a blend of glistening vocal pieces, strings of dreamy melodies and distinctive rhythms, Ineffekt cleverly takes on a sound that both feels comfortable and illusive. It’s a nonchalant approach and ephemeral peaks of emotion that result in a combination of colorful, charming songs. Debut releases ‘Kora' (Album, 2021) and ‘Solaris' (EP, 2020) on Intercept, as well as a string of forthcoming original work and remixes planned for the near future, capture the above. Surrounding themselves with influences from a wide range of contemporary music, including breakbeat, pop and techno, it’s not so much aiming for a specific, but reaching for a compromise between era’s and stylistically diverse sounds.
